“The most effective security, crowd control, event and/or investigation solution, every time.”

Go Protective Services is a 100% locally owned and operated security service provider covering Geelong, Surfcoast, Bellarine Peninsula, Ballarat, and Melbourne. The company was established in 2014 in response to the growing demand for experienced, professional and reliable security operatives, crowd controllers, event personnel and Investigators. We have been ISO certified since 2017 and continue to look for innovative ways in which to improve our services.

I have a passion for the security industry spanning some 30 years. I am the President for the Security Trainers Association and I have a seat on the Victorian Security Industry Advisory Council that makes recommendations to the Minister to improve the Security Industry.

Born and bred in Geelong I have taken the initiative to give back to the community. I have embarked on a partnership with the “Give Where You Live Foundation”. Making a difference to vulnerable people makes me proud to be part of this long serving foundation.

Since the COVID 19 pandemic I have responded to the need for trained and accountable COVID Marshals. We have taken the opportunity to train and develop a portion of our personnel to undertake COVID Marshalling roles which has been effective.

Our vision is to research and deliver the most effective security, crowd control, event and/or investigation solution, every time.

We have achieved AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016 Quality Management System (QMS). It supports transparent processes and (communication) structures, tasks, and responsibilities throughout our organisation. The QMS provides internal policies and procedures that cover all aspects of a world-class system, including planning and leadership, document control, monitoring, analysis, auditing and more.

ISO 45001:2018 provides requirements for an effective occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. This system will help us reduce injuries and accidents in our workplace, as well as continually improve the OH&S performance of our business.
